In September 2023, CMK Properties acquired the 33,000 square foot former Walmart building and transformed it into a new location for Tractor Supply Company, marking CMK’s second partnership with TSC.

The renovation project included a brand-new roof, parking lot enhancements, upgraded HVAC units, and other exterior and interior improvements tailored to Tractor Supply’s requirements. A new pet wash area provides a convenient station equipped with professional-grade tools and quality products for pet grooming, while The Garden Center offers a wide selection of plants, gardening tools, and landscaping equipment to make gardening and landscaping projects easier and more enjoyable. With these additions, the Tractor Supply store along with its garden center and pet wash, will now serve as a dependable supplier to the Baxter Springs community, further enriching the town’s agricultural vitality and rural charm.

Throughout the weekend, the Baxter Springs community and TSC customers had the opportunity to take advantage of weekend deals and giveaways, while welcoming their new neighborhood retailer.
