CMK Properties Groundbreaking to Expand Spring Hill Childcare Offerings

Brentwood, Tenn. — On Tuesday, March 21st, construction of The Learning Zone’s latest childcare facility was initiated at a groundbreaking hosted by CMK Properties at 216 Town Center Parkway in Spring Hill, TN.

This future building will span 13,029 square feet of specially designed classrooms catering to families with children aged six weeks to five years and will be the eighth child care center for The Learning Zone in Middle Tennessee.

According to recent data, the population of Spring Hill has increased by over 12.58% since the 2020 Census, with 7.4% of the local population being under the age of five, exceeding the state and national averages by nearly 2%. The Learning Center construction project aims to address the need for more childcare options in the community as the youth population continues to grow.

The child care center is anticipated to open in October 2023. John Hopfensperger, the CEO, and president of CMK Properties stated that his company is delighted to work alongside high-quality businesses such as The Learning Zone.

Rock City Construction, based in Franklin, will serve as the project’s general contractor while KSA Architects, located in Nashville, is in charge of the structure’s design.
